Steven M. Garver is a Virginia attorney who has been helping injured people in Virginia since 1975. He concentrates his practice in litigation of personal injury, traffic, malpractice, and wrongful death matters. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Fairfax Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and is a Governor of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. He regularly appears in both state and federal courts throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. He also serves as a substitute judge in the District Courts of Fairfax County.
Cheryl G. Rice is an attorney licensed in Virginia and the District of Columbia. She was born in Bluefield, West Virginia and graduated from the George Mason University with a B.A. majoring in English Literature and minoring in business administration in 1988. She graduated from the George Mason University School of Law with a J.D. in 1991.
In addition to being a member of the Virginia and D.C. Bars, Ms. Rice is a member of the Fairfax Bar Association, the Northern Virginia Women Attorneys Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. She has participated in the Fairfax Court Tour program for Northern Virginia middle school students, has written several pieces published in the Journal of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and is the author of an amicus curiae (friend of the court) brief supporting the rights of children injured during birth to bring civil suit against the corporate employer of a negligent doctor in the case of Fruiterman & Associates, P.C. v. Waziri, et al. before the Virginia Supreme Court.
Ms. Rice is now of counsel to the firm and not in the office on a daily basis. She now limits her practice to serious personal injury cases arising from automobile accidents, medical malpractice and other torts causing serious injuries.
Heather S. Daly joined Garver Law Offices, P.C. in spring 2000. She concentrates her practice in family law and general civil litigation, with experience in information technology. She is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Fairfax and Loudoun Bar Associations and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.
